When square-jawed Dodge Intrepid, time-traveling Aliquippa librarian, ventures to the heart of Africa to establish a library, he finds himself embarking on an adventure beyond his wildest expectations in the live radio play, Death Mountain Crusaders. This pulpy adventure is set to explode onto the Cabaret at Theater Square stage Saturday, February 25th at 10:30pm.

This is Rubino and Catullo’s second Intrepid performance at the Cabaret at Theater Square, a venue perfectly suited for the light-hearted, high-adventure radio conventions of the show. Death Mountain Crusaders finds our time traveling hero trekking to 1940s Africa, embroiled in the Crusades, and brawling with cavemen in the Stone Age. The show mixes adventure, local history, and comedy in a unique spin on an old art form.

Meanwhile, our hero, Dodge Intrepid, and his befriended nemesis, Buick LeSabre, are on their way out of town to a Vancouver Rare Book Expo and Symposium. Both of these seemingly unrelated events are brought together, however, when a saboteur shows up to destroy Christmas!
